Why is the Insurance Company mucking me around and delaying my claim?

This is one of the top questions we get at The Claims Desk, and here are some of the answers that may well shock you.

Do I need a Loss Assessor for my claim?

The answer may in fact surprise you, but we have no problem to tell it like it is (unlike many Loss Assessors). The truth is you should always speak to an experienced Loss Assessor about your case, to help you make a great informed decision about your claim.

Why doesn’t my Insurance Company believe me?

There are many possible reasons why Insurers are giving you a hard time, some of which are not very palatable.

When should I instruct a Loss Assessor?

This is one of the most commonly asked questions we get, and the simple answer is not what you may want to hear, but once you have done your due diligence and taken good advice. However you should note carefully our ‘ Health Warning too. ‘ Never sign up to a Loss Assessor who turns up uninvited on your door step as the flames are still glowing or the water subsiding. These are the most unethical of firms, and to be avoided at all costs.

What is thE difference between a Loss Assessor and a Loss Adjuster?

The two should not be confused although they appear similar. Beware, they are very different and you need to appreciate what those differences are.
